Starting the OpenDXM Supplier Client

The OpenDXM Supplier Client is a browser-based application that allows you to create and monitor data exchange jobs automatically. In conjunction with other components such as the job server and the OpenDXM server, a database and a control mechanism are available, which reduce the work involved in creating data exchange jobs to the selection of data by the user and allow the error-free execution of data exchange operations. Additional OpenDXM components assume responsibility for authentication, data transfer, preparation of import jobs and coordination of the distributed systems.

Once the OpenDXM Supplier Client has been started in a browser,

• enter parameters required for user authentication,
  
  
• select a job server from the selection list if more than one job server is available on the name server and
  
  
• select the language to be used for the user interface by clicking on the appropriate flag
